Visiting the capital of Alsace: Apartments in Strasbourg
The European institutions located in Strasbourg shape the self-image of their inhabitants and are among the most popular sights. In the building of the European Parliament or the Council of Europe, you can take a guided tour of the tasks and history of these institutions. The human rights building designed by British architect Richard Rogers can best be admired on a boat trip along the Ill River. The trip also takes you along the Grande Île, the large island with the historic old town of Strasbourg. Here you will find the Strasbourg Cathedral and the picturesque Klein-Franreich district on the banks of the river, as well as the impressive Rohan Palace. This almost 300-year-old castle complex is one of the most important buildings in the city and houses, among other things, the archaeological museum and the museum of fine arts.
But you can also use your private holiday apartment in Strasbourg to spend a few pleasant hours in the city’s extensive parks or botanical gardens, to visit the cathedral’s viewing platform or to roam the winding alleys of the old town in search of souvenirs or traditional arts and crafts. Don’t miss a visit to one of Strasbourg’s wine cellars. Here you can enjoy some of the best wines from Alsace in a suitable atmosphere. Similar to couchsurfing in Strasbourg, private accommodation offers you the opportunity to explore the Rhine metropolis on your own, without having to sacrifice privacy and comfort. If you prefer to live more quietly, you will also find a private holiday apartment in Neudorf, south of the city centre.
Private apartments in Strasbourg and the cities of Alsace
You can easily reach your apartment in Strasbourg from Germany via the A5 motorway. This apartment is wonderful - it has a lovely spacious and comfortable ambiance. The central location was great for getting around the city on foot. It was also surprisingly quiet despite its proximity to all the exciting central Strasbourg sites. We had a simply lovely stay here.

Really close to the city centre, it just takes 15'/20' walking. Great for two people although there is space for four, the sofa isn't pretty confortable.
