Stylish apartments in Alsace
Alsace refers to the region between the Rhine and the Vosges, i.e. the western part of the Upper Rhine Plain. Here there are large cities such as Basel, Mühlhausen and Strasbourg as well as extensive forest areas, plains and hilly regions. Agricultural areas alternate with areas that are virtually predestined for extensive hiking, horseback riding and cycling tours. The Vosges mountains are ideal for climbing tours or fast mountain bike rides. You’re probably torn because you can’t decide whether to reserve your apartment in a big city in Alsace or prefer more rural areas. Why don’t you just arrive by car, which makes you independent. This way you can spend your holidays in an interesting city with all its advantages on the one hand and on the other hand take day trips to the countryside and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings during hikes or bike tours.
Private holiday apartments in Alsace for “more” relaxation
For example, use your private holiday home in Alsace to visit Strasbourg, France’s second largest inland port. Since the city was founded in 12 BC, it not only has a long history, but also great buildings in an old town that belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage. If you are ambitious in sports, you can cycle the “EuroVelo Routes”, which also lead through Alsace. In total, the region has more than 2,000 kilometres of asphalted cycle paths, which could make it difficult for you to choose in this respect as well. You must definitely taste the Alsatian specialities. Order a tarte flambée in your favourite restaurant, preferably very traditional with onions, bacon and regional wine. Typical are also the Alsatian apple pie or the plum cake. If you would like to explore Alsace from the German side, you could also book one of our Apartments in Freiburg. Or you can take a look at the French capital and decide on a private holiday apartment in Paris.

This apartment is wonderful - it has a lovely spacious and comfortable ambiance. The central location was great for getting around the city on foot. It was also surprisingly quiet despite its proximity to all the exciting central Strasbourg sites. We had a simply lovely stay here.

Really close to the city centre, it just takes 15'/20' walking. Great for two people although there is space for four, the sofa isn't pretty confortable.
