Best Salzburg holiday apartments

The property is located a little bit outside, so one basically needs a car to get around, but it situated in very nice countryside with fantastic view up and down the hill. Our host family was very pleasant and welcomed us with homemade cake. They are very supportive in letting one getting familiar with the surrounding area. We traveled with a small child and were allowed to access the cows-house, what made our son happy every time. We used our car to get to the ski lift (it took us approx. 7 min.), that was pretty empty during our travel dates in March.

Wow! This place is sensational. We booked this trip for a triathlon competition so needed a place to call home for the week. It was certainly exactly that. Such a nice apartment. Spacious. Comfy. Great views. Perfect location (like 3 min walk into town, 2 mins to ski lift, 5 to the lake). Fantastic facilities (toilet, bathroom). Beds were very nice. Comfortably sleeps 4 people, but could do 6 (if two slept on a great fold out sofa in the living room). Pillows aren't phenomenal, but that is an Austrian thing. Great decor. Lovely from the outside. Spacious garage. The only thing that could be improved, I guess, is the price. However, it is DEFINITELY worth the price you pay (at summer prices at least). Overall a 10/10, perfect, accommodation experience for what we were after. When I come back to Austria for a skiing holiday and if I go to Zell am See, I will stay here.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment is semi-subterranean thus a little dark, but it's spacious, comfortable, had all the facilities we required and is brilliantly located for easy access to the delights of Salzburg.

I would recommend guests be given the email address of the local contact in order to facilitate interaction ahead of time with that contact - texts and calls to the telephone number supplied were not answered until after we had actually arrived outside the apartment.

Fantastic little jewel. Great layout-large, modern bath, large living room.Small kitchen with everything you would need. The only minus was parking. The closest place was about 6 blocks away on the street. We got a ticket & still don't know why.
